Born in Thiruvarur, Manick holds bachelor’s degrees in both Law and History. He has also earned a diploma in VFX.

While preparing for the civil services examination, he gained an in-depth understanding of several disciplines, including Geography, Indian Art and Culture, Polity, Science, Sociology, Economics, Environment, and World Politics. Choosing Tamil Literature as his optional subject further strengthened his knowledge of Tamil Literature and Grammar. Writing screenplays for Youtube Videos continuously for five years refined and sharpened his writing craft.

From a young age, he developed a deep interest in books and films rooted in history, mythology, and science fiction. This passion ignited a strong desire to create a globally appealing fantasy novel, ultimately shaping him into an epic storyteller.

At the New Delhi World Book Fair 2025, he released his debut fantasy novel, Aali & The Avathars of Primordials, which achieved remarkable success. Following this, he has written the novel, Machchavathar & The Fall of Kumari Kandam, set within the same fictional universe, “Manickverse,” where the events of the earlier novel take place.
